Polishing wheel manufacturers: There are several types according to manufacturing methods

The hardness of the polishing wheel is determined by the spacing of the sutures. The smaller the spacing of the sutures, the higher the hardness of the polishing wheel. In order to make the polishing wheel softer, the manufacturing of the polishing wheel should pay attention to maintaining sufficient spacing between the stitching and the wheel edge (there may also be non stitching). Polishing large workpieces also uses polishing wheels with special air cooling devices.

There are several manufacturing methods for polishing wheels:

(1) Non stitched fabric wheel. It is often made of soft cotton cloth and is suitable for polishing complex shaped workpieces or for fine polishing of small workpieces.

(2) Stitching. It is often made of coarse cloth, non-woven fabric, and fine plain cloth. The stitching can be done using concentric spiral and direct radiation methods. It is suitable for polishing various coatings and operations with simpler shapes.

(3) Air cooled cloth wheel. Using a 45 degree angle wire cutting method, it is in a circular wrinkled shape with a metal disc in the middle, which has the characteristic of ventilation and heat dissipation. It is suitable for polishing large workpieces.

(4) Felt wheel. Made from pure wool, it has a long shrinking time, tight organization, and small pores, unlike fabrics that are constrained by warp and weft, and has good wear resistance.

There are several types of materials classified according to their primary use:

(1) Sandcloth wheel. Made of sandcloth with different particle sizes and abrasives (such as corundum and silicon carbide). Its high cutting rate is suitable for grinding, polishing, deburring, and precision machining of various types of materials.

(2) Cotton polishing wheel. Made from different varieties of cotton cloth. Different impregnation methods and abrasives can be used for semi polishing, polishing, and mirror polishing.

(3) Mixing and polishing wheels of hemp and cotton. Choosing hemp cloth or lining with cotton cloth generally requires impregnation treatment, and various abrasives can be used for initial polishing and polishing.

(4) Composition information - non-woven polishing wheel. The composition information often uses nylon wire, adhesives, and abrasives to make non-woven fabrics, which are used as raw materials to make various shapes of polishing wheels. Due to their inherent abrasive content, they generally do not use abrasives and are mostly used for polishing.

(5) Special material polishing wheel. Special use processing.

Polishing speed editing

When polishing, the circumferential speed of the polishing wheel should be higher than that of the polishing wheel, and different metal materials should choose different polishing wheel circumferential speeds, such as:

The optimal circumferential velocity for pig iron, copper, and nickel is 30-35m/s;

The circumferential velocity of copper, copper alloys, and silver is 22-30m/s;

The optimal circumferential velocity for aluminum and aluminum alloys, zinc, tin, and lead is 18-25m/s.
